Oh happy days are here at last. I fyou haven't heard I am on my path to greener pastures. And by greener pastures I mean I no longer am going to be working at the ON. I have accepted a position at another retailer which is smaller based and has more of a family feel to it. The drive distance will be about the same, but it's all highway driving, so ten times faster. It is gonna rock.
I would like to say farewell, to my dear logistics team. You guys rock...well most of you. If you don't know if you are included in this then you know you don't rock. As for those above me...well I can say is thanks. Thanks for day by day expecting a beanstalk to a magical mystical kingdom with not much more than a couple beans. And thank you very much I believe I brought you that magical kingdom. And it will show over time. I couldn't be happier with the positive words that came from above, saying the depts looked better than they ever had. I take great pleasure in that. But I couldn't have done it without a team that is there to follow and take direction. And since I have put my heart into that team, they know and understand how hard I hae worked for them and their hours. Since more than anything we are on an understanding with eachother, considering we are both victims to the crimes that happen there everyday. The lazy get the hours while we the laborers bust our tails for nothing more than scraps. To my team of Customer service and Logistics I wish you the best of luck and know I am hoping the best in your careers and schools. Don't drop out of school, finish it up and be someone. Make something out of yourself and don't let the pyschos in the office get you down.
